Just had a chance to view The HD digital MP4 files you posted back and I am very pleased with the results. I had forgotten what was actually in those films because it is so long since I have viewed them!
Thanks very much for your efforts. I have yet to watch the 1969 Rome film which I am sure will be as good as the others.
I had forgotten how corny the start of the 1961 film was, as it was both our first overseas caravan trip and only about the second time father had used the camera!
However I shall certainly be sending you some more to transfer!

Many thanks for my completed DVD, which is superb.
I see that the second reel I sent you was not what I intended, but since the boxes are identical, I must have chosen the wrong one! However, in some respects it’s better as they are in sequence, and I’d totally forgotten that I’d spliced that monochrome section on the reel, it was one of my first bits of filming.
I will send you a couple more, shortly, probably next month. My wife and I are getting real pleasure watching our old films again.
