Slides were once paraded with pride after the dessert at dinner parties. Today, thankfully, they are out of fashion – and we have Ferrero Rocher instead.

But, if you want to relive in private those moments that you captured for your dinner guests’ delight, you will want your slides to be flawless. With our state-of–the-art equipment, we scan your slides to a high-resolution to maintain the quality and, if necessary, retouch them to remove hairs, scratches and overall imperfections. Finally, we can colour-enhance them.

Your job, as with all our projects, will be handled with the utmost care throughout the scanning process. On completion, all the original 35mm slides along with the final HD JPG images are returned by registered post (or courier if the destination is overseas).

Please send your precious 35mm slides via Royal Mail Recorded Delivery. We recommend using either a padded envelope / Jiffy bag or a cardboard box to safeguard your slides and wrapping them in bubble-wrap to ensure they are protected. What happens when I have sent my 35mm slides in for scanning?

Once we have examined your slides, we will call you to discuss your production. Unless you have already sent in your payment with your project (cheques are made payable to “Rutland Productions”), we are happy for you to make a bank transfer (BACs payment). We can let you have our bank details either over the phone, or e-mail/text them directly to you.

If you have a problem working out the cost for scanning your 35mm slides, we can help. Just send them in and we will go through them. We will then contact you with an exact price. We will not carry out any work on your project before we have costed it and in the unlikely event you are not happy with the price or any other reason, we will return your project back to you via recorded post – free of charge.

When we have completed the scanning of your slides, we will post them back, along with your final scans saved on to a USB memory stick, using recorded delivery, or you can call and collect the results yourself. Alternatively, we will work with you to find any other collection method that suits you better. For overseas customers, please call to discuss shipping costs with one of our team.

The cost above includes cleaning each slide manually before scanning. Then removing black borders, colour correcting and removing dust marks and scratches from the image and finally supply your 35mm slides as high-resolution jpg files on a USB memory stick.

We will bring your precious 35mm slide images back to life.

All 35mm slides are scanned in jpg format. A copy of the original scans can be supplied along with the finished presentation, free of charge.
